Luis got his MSc. Advanced Sciences of Modern Telecommunications from Universitat de València, Spain in July 2012. His Masters Thesis related to the problem of Localization in Randomly Deployed Wireless Sensor Netwoks. Also received his Bachelors in Networks and Communications Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica del Centro in 2008 at Guacara, Venezuela.

Currently, he joined NeTS Research Group to work in fields regarding spectrum sensing and how to make use of UHF White Spaces for upcoming wireless technologies like Super-WiFi. In October he is set to start the Information and Communication Technologies PhD program at Universitat Pompeu Fabra.

He speaks English and Spanish and has interests regarding Objective-C/C++, GNURadio, Cisco Technologies, among others.
